Yasmin Alrabiei is an Iraqi writer and researcher based in London. Her writing appears in the Hajar Book of Rage (Hajar Press) and in publications including Atmos, WePresent, ICON, GQ, Dazed MENA and Rolling Stone MENA. Drawing on a background in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, she explores the emergent qualia of artistic-scientific encounters and how early knowledge systems and lost cosmologies endure in psychic and somatic circuits. Her writing is drawn to myth, politics of sound, religious folklore and temporal-spatial cosmologies.
Alongside her creative practice, Yasmin has worked in cultural insights research and behavioural economics, collaborating with global clients such as Netflix, Virgin Atlantic, Bumble and Adidas. Her professional work has centred on audience understanding, mixed-methods research, and the cultural dynamics that shape media engagement.
