Writing is an evolving part of brave, with all contributions currently sitting within diaries as a focused space for thoughtful commentary, critique, and lived experience.
brave focuses on redefining artist support, and these articles should directly or indirectly contribute to the betterment of the wider ecosystem. We invite writing with artist development as its core, alongside a willingness to highlight challenges within the art ecosystem and propose solutions.
We are particularly interested in unique takes on prevailing market conditions, originality in writing, openness to experimental formats, and a sense of fearlessness in approach.
Each commissioned piece is approximately 1,000 words, with a fee of £100 per article. Budgets may increase depending on word count and the scale of the proposed piece.
